Bronny James' Epic Nike Ad Breaks The Internet After NBA Draft

As NBA fans expected on Thursday, the Los Angeles Lakers drafted LeBron James's oldest son, Bronny James.

Although the former five-star recruit's only season at USC was statistically lackluster, the occasion is too historic and unique to be ignored.

If the younger James plays in the NBA next season, he and his father will make NBA history as the first father-son team to ever compete in the league.

Even with remarks from the elder James and Bronny himself suggesting they didn't necessarily have to play together, his being selected with the Lakers' No. 55 pick was the worst-kept secret in the industry.

However, as the draft got closer, it was revealed that Bronny was declining workout offers from other teams, and his agent was telling teams not named the Lakers that if they drafted him, he'd go play in Australia.

General manager Rob Pelinka stated that the Lakers do have a plan for James, even if most people don't believe it.

However, as was to be expected, James's purple and gold suit was not the exclusive idea of the Lakers

Nike unveiled a viral ad featuring the younger James not long after he was drafted.
