Caitlin Clark may not be on the United States women's Olympic squad.

USA Today's Christine Brennan and The Athletic indicate that Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark will not make the 12-person USA women's basketball squad for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

Here is the expected roster under Minnesota Lynx head coach and president of basketball operations Cheryl Reeve.

Kableah Copper Chelsea Gray A'ja Wilson Breanna Stewart Diana Taurus Brittney Griner

Alyssa Napheesa Collier, Thomas Jewell Loyd Kelsy Plum Jackie Young Sabina Ionescu

Not just Reeves chooses the Olympic team. The decision was made by a committee that included Dawn Staley, Seimone Augustus, Delisha Milton-Jones, Jennifer Rizzotti,

president of the Connecticut Sun and head coach of the U.S. women's 3-on-3 Olympic team, and Bethany Donaphin, WNBA head of league operations.

Seven 5-on-5 Olympic players and two 3-on-3 players. Only Copper, Ionescu, and Thomas will be first-time Olympians.

Nine of the 12 Olympic women's 5-on-5 basketball competitions have been won by the US, including seven gold medals since Atlanta 1996.
