Fever Coach Placing Blame For Caitlin Clark Usage After Loss: Indiana Tracker

JUNE 28: DISAPPOINTED Christie Sides, the coach of the Indiana Fever, is not happy with the way Caitlin Clark was used in Thursday's 89-77 loss to the Seattle Storm.

"Caitlin Clark needs to shoot a minimum of 15 shots a game for us," Sides stated.

"She's got to get shots, and we've got to do a better job of setting her up, setting some really good screens for her to get her open."

Sides seems to be placing some of the blame on Clark and her teammates.

However, following Clark's 15 points on just 4 of 9 shots? Sides must be blaming herself as well, surely?

In a game, 23-year-old Freeman averaged 18.6 points and 12.9 rebounds.

After playing for East Carolina, Newton spent the final two seasons at UConn. In the previous season, he averaged 15.1 points and 6.2 assists per game. He and the Huskies won two NCAA championships.
