In career-worst loss, LeBron James leads NBA in minutes.

No one has played more NBA games than LeBron James. James had the biggest loss of his career.

On Monday, James became the league's all-time minutes leader in the Lakers' 138-94 loss to the 76ers. With regular-season and postseason games, James has played 66,319 minutes, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's 66,297.

LeBron James' 30 minutes against the Sixers may have felt longer than usual, since Philadelphia outscored L.A. by 30 points.

"That doesn't mean much to me," James remarked of the minute mark. Much more pressing was James' 44-point loss, the greatest of his 21-year career and tied for fifth in Lakers history.

James and the Lakers' primary rotation were benched with 8:18 left in the fourth quarter and a 27-point deficit. James was asked what has to change for his team, which is 3-6 on the road and 10-8 overall, to avoid losses like Monday's.

Changes needed to prevent that from happening again? James said "a lot". No, he repeated when asked what L.A. should focus on. A lot." The Lakers fell into a familiar early hole as they trailed 32-19 after the first quarter.

"Felt like we weren't together," Anthony Davis remarked. Lots of rapid, one-pass, no-pass shots. They started shooting often. When their advantage built up -- 15, 20, 25 -- I think we all attempted to be the hero to save the team instead of sticking with it."

Sixers made season-high 22 3-pointers on 46 attempts (47.8%). Meanwhile, L.A. shot 7-25 (25%) from deep. "We got killed on the 3-point line today," James remarked. Lakers guard Austin Reaves described the issue more colorfully.

"I mean, they made a lot of 3s, we didn't, and they beat the s--- out of us," he remarked. I don't know. Watch this again to improve."

Davis suggested the team "flush" the loss from its memory because it had a road back-to-back against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday and the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday before returning home, but Reaves agreed that a thorough video study would assist analyze the setback.
