Kerr says Kawhi Leonard, Team USA will report to camp.

All 12 Olympic players, including LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, will attend training camp in Las Vegas next week, according to Team USA coach Steve Kerr on Thursday.

"We've been in communication constantly," Kerr told reporters. "So we expect all 12 guys to be ready to roll."

Leonard, who turns 33 on Saturday, missed the Clippers' final three games after his surgically repaired right knee didn't respond well in Game 3 of their first-round series against the Dallas Mavericks.

His playoffs were cut short for the fourth straight season due to injury.

Leonard wants to play in Paris, Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank said Thursday.

"This is an opportunity he's wanted for a long time, so he's rehabbing and coming back," he added. "After the injury, his goal is to get fit and play in the Olympics.

"He's accelerating and our top concern is long-term health. So he won't risk his long-term health. He wants to be ready for the Olympics, a strong season, and a long career. His focus and mindset are daily. He's made great strides and keeps going."

Kerr says he's been in touch with Leonard's camp before camp begins July 6.
