Sources: Clippers' Kawhi Leonard gets final Team USA spot.

On Tuesday, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski that LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard will be Team USA's 12th and final player for the 2024 Olympics.    

Over the past several days, USA Basketball managing director Grant Hill met with majority of the 12 2024 Olympic team invitees.    

Sources tell ESPN that Leonard's acceptance to join the roster for Paris was confirmed on Tuesday.    

On Monday, ESPN sources revealed that Team USA would include LeBron James (Lakers), Stephen Curry (Warriors), Kevin Durant (Suns),    

Joel Embiid (76ers), Anthony Davis (Lakers), Devin Booker (Suns), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves),    

Jayson Tatum (Celtics), Jrue Holiday (Celtics), Bam Adebayo (Heat), and Tyrese Haliburton.    

Warriors coach Steve Kerr will coach Team USA.    

Leonard averages 23.7 points and 6.1 rebounds for the Clippers this season. Inflammation in his surgically repaired right knee kept him out for the final eight games.    

July brings training camp and exhibition games in Las Vegas.    

In Paris, the Olympics will run from July 26 to August 11. Twelve men's basketball teams will compete for gold.
